Power & Light have joined NAPIT, the National Association of Professional Inspectors and Testers, and as such are registered to undertake all domestic 'Part P' work, as well as commercial and industrial electrics, including inspection and testing.

We specialise in all aspects of domestic electrical installation from new build and extension projects to new kitchen and bathroom circuits, complete rewiring, fault finding and all electrical repairs.

Part P is a part of the Building Regulations which was introduced by the government in January 2005 and affects all electrical work carried out in dwellings.

People carrying out electrical work in homes and gardens in England and Wales should follow the rules set out in Part P of the Building Regulations to ensure that they are complying with the law. These rules are designed to ensure that electrical work is safe.
